Alyssa K. Hermesch

Alyssa Hermesch is a senior in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana State University, and she is from Walker, Louisiana.  She has been working for the Louisiana Transportation Research Center since August 2016.  When she isn't researching topics of transportation or studying for her classes, Alyssa designs and builds Formula-style race cars!  She has been on the LSU TigerRacing Formula SAE team for 3 years, and is this year's President and Shifting Subsystem Engineer.

 

 

 

 

Ahmed S.Elshoura

Ahmed S.Elshoura, is a PHD student at Civil Engineering at Louisiana State University. He finished his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Department- Faculty of Engineering- Mansoura University- Mansoura- Egypt (2006-2011). Later (2014-2015), he joined SAHC master’s program (Advanced masters in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Construction), and he received his master’s degree from Technical University of Catalonia- Barcelona- Spain and Czech Technical University in Prague- Prague- Czech Republic. There, his thesis was in dynamic analysis for masonry buildings. Ahmed has experience in the field of Structural health monitoring, and he participated in a renovation project for Sant Andreu Church in Barcelona. In addition, he worked as a teaching assistant in Faculty of Engineering- Mansoura University- for 5 semesters 2013-2014 and 2015-2016.

 

 

Emily Wolfe

Emily Wolfe is the Multi-Media Specialist at Louisiana Transportation Research Center. In this role, she provides web support and graphic design services for the engineering and training/technology transfer divisions of LTRC. Emily has been in the communications field for 16 years and received B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from Louisiana Tech University.
