Parking and Shuttle Information

Raising Cane's River Center Parking Garage Procedures

Park in either the East or West garage. Garage entrances are on St. Louis Street, north of St. Louis/Government St. intersection. You may enter/exit garage as often as necessary by following the procedures below.

Procedures for Driver:
  • Take ticket from machine each time you enter garage.
  • Report to Parking Validation (Riverview Room, registration area, Level 2) to turn in ticket and receive a garage exit pass any time before departure from conference. A pass is only good for that day. Each time you exit the garage and return the same day, you must repeat this procedure.
  • Same procedures are to be followed each day/each entry.
  • Different colored passes are provided each day.
  • If you fail to exchange parking ticket for pass, you will be responsible for paying the fee—no reimbursement after the fact.
  • After the morning break on Wednesday (9:45-10:15 a.m.), Parking Validation will relocate from the registration area to the area outside of the ballroom on Level 2. Conference staff will be available from 10:15 a.m.–12 p.m. and again from 1:30 p.m.–2 p.m. If you have not validated your parking ticket by this time, you are responsible for the parking fee.

Hotel Parking Information

Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center

  • Overnight guest valet parking with in/out privileges is $20.00 per day, plus tax and is available 24 hours.
  • Day parking 0-4 hours is $5.00; 4 or more hours is $7.00.
  • NOTE: If utilizing the day parking option, please advise the valet that you are part of the 2020 Louisiana Transportation Conference (DOTD) as these prices have been confirmed for the conference.

Shuttle Information

Shuttle transportation will be provided between the conference hotels and the USS Kidd for the Speaker Reception on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Please look for conference signage at the conference hotels for designated shuttle pick-up and drop off locations. Shuttle transportation will also be provided between the Raising Cane’s River Center and each of the conference hotels all days of the conference. The designated shuttle pick-up and drop-off location at the Raising Cane’s River Center is the Exhibition Hall Lobby Area. Conference signs will include transportation times and a map of the shuttle route (also printed on back inside cover of the program). Although a schedule has been arranged, shuttle times may vary slightly due to city traffic, peak periods of transport, and unexpected events. However, our goal is to provide service to the Raising Cane’s River Center and each conference hotel as quickly as possible.

Sunday, March 1, 2020 – Speaker’s Reception
  • Shuttle bus service to pick-up from the conference hotels beginning at 5:00 p.m. to drop off at the USS Kidd.
  • Speaker Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.
  • The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes from 5:00 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. (last shuttle bus service for the day/evening)
Monday, March 2, 2020
AM Shuttle Bus Service:
  • 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
  • The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes until 9:00 am (last shuttle bus service for the morning)
PM Shuttle Bus Service:
  • Exhibitor reception begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm.
  • Shuttle bus service leaves the RCRC to drop off at hotels at 5:15 pm and will run until 8:15 p.m.
  • The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes until 8:15 p.m. (last shuttle bus service for the day/evening)
Tuesday, March 3, 2020
AM Shuttle Bus Service:
  • 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
  • The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes until 9:00 am (last shuttle bus service for the morning)
PM Shuttle Bus Service:
  • Technical sessions end at 4:15 pm
  • Shuttle bus service leaves the RCRC to drop off at hotels at 4:15 p.m. and will run until 5:30 p.m.
  • The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes until 5:30 p.m. (last shuttle bus service for the day/evening)
Wednesday, March 4, 2020
AM Shuttle Bus Service:
  • 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
  • The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes until 9:00 am (last shuttle bus service for the morning)
PM Shuttle Bus Service:
  • Conference ends at 12:00 p.m.
  • Shuttle bus service leaves the RCRC to drop off at hotels at 12:00 p.m. and will run until 1:00 p.m. The shuttle bus service will run every 15 minutes until 1:00 p.m.
